       Vedaraniyam Municipality was constituted as Third grade Municipality as per G.O.No.301 M.A & W.S. Dept. dated 24.8.04. It is Upgraded as SECOND grade  Municipality as per G.O.No.154  M.A & W.S. Dept. dated 09.08.2010.This Municipality is upgraded as FIRST GRADE  Municipality  as per G.O.No. 57 of M.A.&W.S.Dept. dated :02.05.2023
