Old Bus Stand (Kamaraj Road)
Objectives:
- The Old Bus Terminal was constructed at several phase 1982, 1986, 1993.
- Tiruppur District is an important industrial district in Tamil Nadu.
- The Tiruppur Town s Situated at a distance of 448.00 Kms to the Southwest of Chennai.
- When the site is strategically located along state highways.
- The state Government has increasing buses from various towns in Tiruppur.
- Now the Old Bus Stand has redeveloped and Smart features are provided.
Present stage of Old Bus Stand.
- Main Building: Ground floor & First floor brick work and plastering completed. Terrace head room brick completed. Terrace screed completed. Ground floor granite flooring, Internal and external Putty work, Ground floor plumbing work, FRP door frame fixing work are in progress. OHT cover slab shuttering work Completed.
- West Side: All Civil Works Completed Except Flooring Work. Further Planned for Plumbing & Electrical Works.
- South Side: All Civil Works Completed Except Toilet Area.
- North Side: All Civil Works Completed. Pavement for Bus bays revised design is being finalized.
