KAILASANATHAR KOVIL , Rasipuram
A Siva temple reportedly founded by Adhan Ori, a Vettuvar ruler of the Kolli Malai and Rasipura Nadu. According to oral traditions, Ori stumbled upon a lingam in the ilandhai forests of Rasipuram while boar –hunting. The chief deity’s consort is called Dharma Samvarthini which name echoes the Buddhist name of Arapalli Isvara of the Kolli Malai.
