It is an important Municipal Town in North-Western Part of Erode District and it belongs to Sathyamangalam Taluk and Bhavanisagar Panchayat Union, it also situated nearby Coimbatore District Border. The Town which is Grade II Municipality.
The nearest Major City is “Coimbatore” which is 40 Km away from Punjai Puliampatti. It is well connected by three main roads (major district roads) passing through the center of the town. One connecting Coimbatore and Sathyamangalam and another connecting Puliampatti and Mettupalayam, Puliampatty and Tiruppur, by crossing N.H.209 (National Highways).
