| The Puliyangudi Municipality Bus stand is situated in the centre of the town. The extent is 1.19 acres abutting GST road. It is recognized as D grade bus stand and is having 10 bays. This bus stand operates nearly 100 buses daily and a some of Rs.1,41,965/- is collected as bus fees per annum at the rate of Rs.5/- per bus per day. Another Bus stand is functioning at Chinthamani in the extent of 1 acre.
All the buses coming from Chennai, are going on the bye – pass road of Puliangudi town. The buses are crossing the areas Puliyangudi, Mela Puliyangudi, Chinthamani, T.N.Pudukudi. so the present Bus stand is enough to this small town. The Construction of New Shops and Development works are under progress at an estimated cost of Rs.30.91. |
