General Section

Pernambut Municipality is the Seconf Grade Municipality. Manager is the head of Administration next to Executive Officer in the branch of General Administration, and he is responsible for general supervision and Administration of Office. All Establishment matters are dealt with in the General Administration.

Manager is Head of General Section. His duty includes general supervision of the ministerial staff, maintenance of discipline in the office premises to sign fair copies as “for Executive Officer” and to sign receipts for all remittances made in the Municipal Treasury to acknowledge registered tapals, Money orders etc on behalf of the Executive Officer and account for properly as the custodian of the cash collected daily-checking of Chitta and Cash and Petty cash, payments, Advances, etc. Administration Report, Annual Inspection of the office, checking of PR’s of all staff and subsidiary registers in respect of all sections. All papers should be submitted to the Executive Authority through the Head Clerk.

All Matters relating to establishment including Public Health Maintenance of Increment & Punishment registers etc., Maintenance of service Registers, Register of Probationers temporary or permanent Post sanction Register etc. Audit Register, Issue of Office order-common office order book, Maintenance of stock file, Personal Registers and Audit objection register, Inspection reports etc.

Register of Advances, Register of Deposits Family Benefit Fund Scheme all advance, Group Insurance Scheme, Special Provident Fund Scheme- Maintenance of Personal Register Periodical Register, Office order and stock file relating to the seat. Suits relating to all sections.

A1 – Junior Assistant

Daily receipt of remittances by the bill collectors and public-Remittance Maintenance of periodical Register stock file, Maintenance of personal Register & Property Tax Demand Register Profession Tax Demand Register & Water Supply Demand Register.

A2- Despatch

Distribution of tapals-Despatching of tapals by post & Local Delivery- Circulation of Gazette among the officers-Maintenance of tapal distribution Register-Local Delivery book stamp amount for ordinary and registered tapals- special tapal register -Tapal Register of Executive Officer of Municipal Administration-issue of demand for copy application-for R-Dis & D-Dis Maintance of Record Room Stationary Register money order Received Register Cheques Received Register and Despatch of agaenda to the councilors and chairman.
