PATTUKKOTTAI MUNICIPALITY
Pattukkottai Municipality is Selection Grade Municipality in Thanjavur District. This Municipality has been constituted as third grade Municipality from 1.4.1965 vide GO.No. 518 Dt. 01.01.1965, and upgraded to Second grade from 07.02.1975 vide GO.No.200 Dt, 07.02.1975, First grade from 17.4.1984 vide Go.No. 500 dt. 17.04.1984 and selection grade from 22.5.98. Pattukkottai Municipality awarded best municipal award in First Place – for the year 2016.
