1.Rameswaram
The main pilgrim centre in Ramanthapuram District. This is also a tourist spot 90 km away from Paramakudi Town. A very big beautiful Sivan Temple and 21 Puniya Theerthams in this temple, “ Adi 18 important day for this temple. Many Foreign and North Indians were visiting and workshiping this God throughout the year. Special Poojas will be performed on important days. This temple attracts many pilgrims from all over India.
2.Sethukarai
Sethukarai is an important place for pilgrims situated 60 km away from the Paramakudi Town. people thought that in epic Ramayanam, Lord Ramar went to Srilanka from Sethukarai by bridge made up of stones. In this place, people are worshiping their ancestors.
3.Thiruvadanai
An ancient and famous Vishnu temple in Thiruvadanai. It is located 90 k.m. away from Paramakudi town. People were worshiping this God in festival seasons.
4.Thiruppullani
Thiruppullani is situated 60 km away from Paramakudi Town, one ancient Sivan Temple is situated in this Town. This temple is very popular near by Villages.
5.Devipattinam
There is a Navagiraha Temple situated in this place. It is located 60 km away from the Paramakudi Town. This temple is situated in Sea, and people are worshiping throughout the year. This is also an impressive sight.
6.Uthirakosa Mangai
Uthirakosa Mangai is situated 35 km away from the Paramakudi Town. An ancient Natarajar temple in this place. The Lord Natarajar statue made up of “Green Maragatha stone.” The people are worshiping this God at “Arudhra Dharsan” held in December and January of every year.
7.Nainarkoil
Nainorkovil is situated at a distance of 15 km from Paramakudi Town. An ancient Sivan and Amman Temple is located in Nainarkoil. People are worshiping this amman in Adi festival.
8.Ervadi Tharha
Ervadi Tharha is located 70 km away from Paramakudi Town. A very old mosque is situated in it.In January Santahana Koodu’ festival is celebrated in this pilgrims centre.
