Pallipalayam Municipality is a IInd Grade Municipality having an extent of 4.70 Sq.Km. The Present Population of this Town is 45927.  The Municipality is divided in 21 Wards.

This Municipality is maintaining 33.86 km length of road and 53.94km of draian.  Most of drains were constructed about 25 years ago which are now in very damaged condition.  Due to this damaged drain condition most of the people in the wards are facing lot of hindrances  because of blockages in drain.   Even through municipal workers  are removing these blockages then and there, the damaged drain is causing much disturbances in cleaning.
