About Municipality

As per Government Order No. 116, Department of Municipal Administration and Water Supply dated 07.12.2021, Pallapatti Town Panchayat  upgraded to  Second Grade  Municipality.

The Town is located on the State highways From Karur to Palani, 35 km from south of Karur, 50 km from North of Dindigul and 68km from south west of Palani ( A Famous Pilgrim Town ).  It is located on the Southern Bank of Rover Naganji. It consists 27 wards with 36884 Population. The area of Municipality is 10.63 Sq.km.The ancient 12 No of Pallivasal’s centre of the Heritage town.
