Storm Water Drains

i) The long stretch of mountain on the Western side of the town basis wise of rainwater into the town. This storm water comes with silt and silts the entire drainage of the town. Therefore in order to avoid present flooding of the town during rainy season, it is rainwater construction exclusive storm water during along the foot of  hills and link to drainage outlets

ii) An intensive and extensive education campaign is to be launched to educate the public and make then fully of their activities in keeping the hygienic and livable Co-operation with the Municipality in the up keep and protection of opportunities provided in the storm water facilities.

Existing Status

The information provided in the above table indicates that nearly 70% of road were provided with storm water drain.
