                Nelliyalam  Municipality is situated at Taluk head Quarters. It has vast jurisdictions comparing within two Revenue Villages Viz Devala Village and Nelliyalam Village within Two Revenue Taluk of Gudalur Taluk and Pandalur Taluk with an area of 94.28 Sq.Kms with population of 44590 as per 2011 Census. The present population estimated 50000. The are 44 Habitation and 18 habitation are slum area. The area divided into 21 wards for Administrative purposes.
