The nearest international airport is Thiruvananthapuram. It is about 75 km to the south east of this town along the cost.
By Local Transport
The main mode of transport within the city is town buses plying through all the routes
in the city. The city has two bus stands. Two bus terminals serve the town, namely.
* Christopher Bus stand, in Vadasery on Balamore Road.
* Anna Bus stand, on Cape Road.
To supplement the town bus service there are taxies, auto-rickshaws and share autos.
By Railway
Adjudged “Best Maintained Railway Station” of the Southern Railways many a time,
Nagercoil Junction is the nucleus of the Southern Railways. It connects
Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Tirupathi, Turicorin, Quilon, Bangalore,
Coimbatore, Kochi, Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram.
By Road
The city is a junction of almost all the state Highways and some of the National Highways. There are excellent all
weather road connection from Nagerkoil to Thiruvananthapuram, Thirunelveli and Kanyakumari. The National
Highway NH 47 between Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari. One can easily reach any place in the state
boarding a mofussil bus, long-route express buses and luxury coaches in the city.
