About Municipality

Lalgudi Town located in Tiruchirappalli District functioned as Selection Grade Town Panchayat was upgraded to Second Grade Municipality as per G.O.No.117 Municipal Adminstration and Water Supply Departmentdated 17/12/2021. The town lies in the intersection of Tiruchirapalli – Ariyalur – Chidabaram NH road . This Municipality extends over an area of 19.93 sq.km.
