About Municipality

The Kuzhithurai Municipality open the session in 1913 with the title of grade III Municipality. In 22.5.1998 under GOMS No.85 (Finance-5) it up graded to II Grade Municipality. Vilavancode, Nallor and Pacode villages comes under this Municipal area. The area of the Municipality is two square miles or 518 Hectors.
