Kadayanallur is a First Grade Municipal town located in Tirunelveli District. The town is located on the foot of the Western Ghat in the east and has slope from west to east. It lies at 9.05” Northern Latitude and 77-22 on the eastern longitude.
The town is having an area of 52.25 Sq.Kms. The town is situated about 16 Kms. on the North of Tenkasi and 47 Kms. on the south of Rajapalayam. The N.H. 208 Quilon – Thirumangalam passes through this town. Kadayanallur is the second largest town in the Tirunelveli District. The town is general is having a dry climate except during the monsoon periods.
The mast important commodities such as Handloom clothes, matches also fiber and mud-pots are being manufactured in the town.
