The City Engineer is the cadre of Executive Engineer and he is over all in charge of the Engineering section. The City Engineer is controlling the two Assistant Engineers, Draughts man, Work Inspector, Electrical Superintendent Grade – II, Water works superintendent, Electrician grade I and II, Fitter Grade I and II , Fitter bed operator, Water supply drivers, Wire man, Helper, Gang Mazdoor.
The Electrical superintendent is to take the street light maintenance of the entire city.
The water works superintendent is looks after the water supply maintenance. The City Engineer looks after the maintenance of street lights, Road laying, Construction of Building, Drainage maintenance of Park Head works and corporation vehicles. The other section officers in the Engineering section are assisting the City Engineer to look after the above works.
