Dharapuram Municipality The town has attained the status of a Municipality in the year 1916 and functioning as the First Grade Municipality from 09.05.1983. The town has attained Selection Grade Municipality on 02.05.2023 as per G.O. Ms.No 57 dated 02.05.2023. The town developments completely depend on the agricultural activities and Commerce and Trades.
