| The present Bus Stand was constructed during 1960, which is inadequate for parking more no. of buses in the bus stand. The presence of Municipal Fire Station (MFS) adjacent to the Bus Stand restricts the expansion of the bus stand. The MFS site is owned by is Urban Local Body. The local body has requested the MFS to shift its base from the present site to outside area, but there is a legal dispute involved in handing over the site by the MFS to the local body, which is given greater attention. |
