The Municipal Engineer is the over-all in-charge of Engineering Section. Overseer, Work Inspector, Technical Assistant, Electrician, Wireman, Electrician Helper and Fitter are working under the control of Municipal Engineer in this section. The Municipal Engineer looks after the providing and maintenance of Water Supply, Street lights, Laying of Roads, Construction of Municipal Buildings and Storm water drain, Maintenance of parks, water supply head works and municipal vehicles. The other subordinate officers are assisting the Municipal Engineer in looking after the above work.
